OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) – Downtown Omaha is bracing for a big traffic influx that will put the city’s parking logistics to the test as two big events get underway Thursday evening within 90 minutes of one another.

College World Series fans will be making their way to TD Ameritrade Park as Oregon State and Arkansas meet for the winner-take-all national title game; first pitch is set for 5:35 p.m. Thursday.

With all the events going on around Downtown Omaha, Arkansas fans aren’t the only ones invading downtown.

CWS fans were already lining up before 2 p.m. to get into tonight’s game, to get not only a good seat. Most fans said they wanted to line up early to beat the traffic because they aren’t staying close to the stadium.
