The Huskers jumped out to an early 28-0 lead thanks to a couple of touchdown passes from Adrian Martinez, a punt return for a touchdown from J.D. Spielman and a touchdown run from Devine Ozigbo.

Martinez finished the day completing 15 of his 22 passes for 213 yards, two touchdowns and an interception before Noah Vedral took over in the second half.

Vedral completed just two of his nine passes for 29 yards and an interception, but scored a fourth quarter TD with his legs.

Stanley Morgan Jr. had seven catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns, while Devine Ozigbo carried the ball 11 times for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Nebraska will have a tough test next week on the road against Ohio State.
