LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) – Eight games in to the regular season and it looks like things are finally clicking for the Huskers.

Nebraska trounced Bethune-Cookman 45-9 Saturday and the team is looking to keep momentum rolling heading in to the final four games of the regular season.

“Like Coach Frost says, we’re building each and every single week,” said senior Payton Newell. “The little things are finally adding up. It was just a matter of time. We obviously have a ways to go, but we’re on the right track.”

“Everybody can see what we’re building here, and we had the rough start, nobody wanted it,” said junior running back Wyatt Mazour. “It happened, it’s in the past. It’s only up from here.”
