Notes: It’s the 11th overall trip to the College World Series for the Dawgs, and the second in as many years. Mississippi State boasts an incredibly well balanced lineup, with threats 1-9, and a top three on the mound (Small, Ginn, and Peyton Plumlee) that stacks up with the best. The Dawgs will open the CWS against fellow SEC program Auburn – Mississippi State took 2 of 3 from the Tigers on March 22-24.
